Job summary

Ambition is seeking an experienced IT leader to own the organization’s application landscape, including ERP, CRM, and digital commerce, with a focus on reliable operations and lifecycle management across cloud and on-premises environments.

The role requires strong governance of cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance, plus the ability to drive cross-functional technology initiatives and strategic planning with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with exposure to enterprise applications, infrastructure management, and technology transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing large-scale application ecosystems within multinational, consumer-focused environments.
• Strong expertise in enterprise ERP solutions, business systems integration, and complex application environments across multiple business functions.
• Solid knowledge of digital platforms, cloud technologies, network infrastructure, information security controls, and modern IT operating models.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the organization’s application landscape, including ERP, CRM, digital commerce, and integration services.
• Drive technology projects from inception through delivery, including requirements gathering, vendor coordination, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt, increase automation, and leverage new technologies for growth and efficiency.
• Lead enterprise infrastructure management across cloud and on-premises environments, including data platforms, servers, networking and DR capabilities.
• Maintain governance on cybersecurity, data privacy, risk management, regulatory compliance, business continuity and disaster recovery.

Job description

Take ownership of the organization's business application landscape, covering ERP platforms, CRM solutions, digital commerce systems, mobile technologies, integration services, supply chain applications, and internally developed tools. Ensure reliable operations, continuous enhancement, and effective software lifecycle management.

Drive technology projects from inception through delivery, including business requirement analysis, solution evaluation, implementation planning, vendor coordination, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Evaluate existing technology platforms and identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce technical debt, increase automation, and leverage new technologies that support business growth and operational efficiency.

Lead the management of enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments, including servers, networking, storage, data platforms, endpoint technologies, and disaster recovery capabilities.

Maintain a strong governance framework covering cybersecurity, identity and access controls, data privacy, risk management, regulatory compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness.

Develop and maintain IT operational standards, security frameworks, policies, procedures, and performance metrics. Provide regular reporting on service delivery, project execution, system availability, and strategic initiatives.

Manage relationships with external technology partners, ensuring contractual commitments, service quality, project deliverables, and cost efficiencies are consistently achieved.

Support annual technology planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and investment decisions to align IT initiatives with long-term business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Approximately 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with exposure to enterprise applications, infrastructure management, and technology transformation initiatives.

Demonstrated experience overseeing large-scale application ecosystems within multinational, consumer-focused, retail, distribution, manufacturing, or trading environments.

Strong expertise in enterprise ERP solutions, business systems integration, and complex application environments across multiple business functions.

Solid knowledge of digital platforms, cloud technologies, network infrastructure, information security controls, and modern IT operating models.

Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft technologies and productivity platforms, including AI-enabled workplace tools.

Proven ability to engage effectively with senior business stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills with the ability to influence decision-making across all levels of the organization.

Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities, with experience managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Fluent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Exposure to artificial intelligence, automation technologies, or data-driven operational improvements will be considered a distinct advantage.
