Senior IT Manager (Modern Infrastructure, Regional Scope)
As a Senior Manager in the Technology department within the FMCG sector, you will be responsible for leading key technological initiatives and driving innovation. This role offers an impactful opportunity to lead shape and enhance operations through digital workplace transformation.
A FMCG organization is looking for new Senior IT Manager to lead their digital workplace transformation. Less experienced IT Infrastructure Manager will be considered should you have outstanding team leading experience and track record in driving / leading AI and automation projects.
- Define and execute the regional IT infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, growth plans, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise infrastructure services, including cloud platforms, networks, servers, storage, identity management, and end-user computing.
- Drive cloud adoption and optimization initiatives across Microsoft Azure, including migration, governance, security, performance, and cost management.
- Manage and enhance the organization's Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), and related collaboration technologies.
- Champion the adoption of AI-powered workplace tools such as Microsoft Copilot, helping business functions improve productivity, collaboration, and decision-making.
- Establish and maintain infrastructure security standards, disaster recovery capabilities, business continuity plans, and compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Lead infrastructure projects and technology upgrades across multiple countries, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Manage third-party vendors, service providers, and outsourcing partners while maintaining agreed service levels and operational excellence.
- Develop infrastructure monitoring, automation, and operational processes to improve service reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional infrastructure team, fostering continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing regional or multinational environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, including networking, compute, storage, security, identity, governance, and migration strategies.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), Defender, and Microsoft Copilot.
- Proven experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, including Windows Server, virtualization platforms, backup solutions, and enterprise storage.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, identity and access management, endpoint security, zero-trust architecture, and risk management principles.
- Experience leading large-scale infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, digital workplace, or enterprise transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure including SD-WAN, VPN, wireless networks, firewalls, load balancing, and connectivity management.
- Excellent stakeholder management, project management, and vendor management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at both technical and executive levels.
- Fluent English and Chinese communication skills
