Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect in Hong Kong to guide customers in designing scalable solutions on our data platform. You will partner with Sales to win deals, advise on architecture, and drive customer success across enterprises and startups.

A strong technical background and cloud experience are required. The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, impactful demonstrations, and ongoing learning of MongoDB product suites, with opportunity for growth in a hybrid working

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of related industry experience, ideally 2 years in a customer facing role.
• Minimum 2 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#).
• Experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to convey complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and Architect scalable, performant applications and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, communicating MongoDB's value to stakeholders.
• Partner with Sales to drive account success through planning, qualification and pipeline strategy; own technical discovery, demos, and documentation.
• Generate demand within the sales territory through initiatives, events, and ABM activities.
• Foster customer relationships, build champions, ensure success and satisfaction.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and pursue ongoing professional development.
