Job summary

Oliver James is recruiting on behalf of an insurance client for a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager role. This is an initial 12-month contract with the potential to convert to a permanent position.

The candidate will combine business analysis and project management duties, gathering requirements, developing project plans, tracking progress and reporting to senior stakeholders. Banking/Financial Services background preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager.
• Banking & Financial Services exposure preferred.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiar with financial systems and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Develop project plans with timelines, budgets and risks.
• Define project scope, deliverables and milestones.
• Monitor progress and report status to senior management.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration and support testing.
