Job summary

ACCA Careers seeks a Senior Business Analyst in Hong Kong to drive transformation initiatives across operations within a major financial services client. You will partner with stakeholders, document requirements, and shape end-to-end process changes.

You will lead workshops, coordinate with PMs and vendors, and oversee UAT, training, and post-launch stabilization while ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in insurance, banking, or financial services.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, system implementation, and UAT.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for transformation initiatives.

Our client is a well-established financial services organization undergoing a large-scale Revamp transformation initiative. They are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive process improvement, system enhancements, and digital transformation across operations.

The Role

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for transformation initiatives.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and support the design of end-to-end processing journeys.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to identify process improvement opportunities and business solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, technology teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare and maintain key project documentation, including business requirements, user stories, process flows, test plans, training materials, and operational procedures.
• Review solution designs and ensure alignment with business objectives and user expectations.
• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect management, and sign-off activities.
• Support system implementation, rollout activities, user training, and post-launch stabilization.
• Monitor solution performance and recommend enhancements to improve operations and customer experience.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience within insurance, banking, financial services, or related industries.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, system implementation, and UAT.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
• Candidate with more experience will be considered Assistant Manager, BA.
