Protiviti Hong Kong Co. Limited is seeking a Business Analyst / Project Manager for a 12 months contract to support a large-scale Markets Operations transformation.

You will work with Operations, Technology, and Business stakeholders to deliver change across Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, and Securities Operations. The role covers business analysis, TOM design, process optimisation, system migration, UAT coordination, and go-live support within a complex markets environment.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in Business Analysis, Project Management, Change Management, or Transformation.
• Experience in Markets Operations, Treasury Operations, or Securities Services is preferred.
• Knowledge of asset classes such as Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, and Repos is advantageous.

The Company
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to support a large-scale Markets Operations transformation programme. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Technology, and Business stakeholders to deliver strategic change initiatives across Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, and Securities Operations.

This role will focus on business analysis, process optimisation, target operating model implementation, system migration, UAT coordination, and go-live support within a complex markets environment. Based on the internal programme description, the work involves process alignment, platform consolidation, testing, implementation, and stakeholder management.

The Role

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from key stakeholders.
• Conduct current-state and future-state process assessments.
• Support Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation.
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate system migration and platform consolidation activities.
• Facilitate workshops between Operations, Technology, and Business teams.
• Manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting.
• Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and implementation activities.
• Develop business process documentation, operating procedures, and training materials.

Your Profile

• 8 - 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Change Management, or Transformation.
• Candidates with 5-7 years of relevant experience may also be considered for a junior position, subject to experience and skill set alignment.
• Strong background in Markets Operations, Treasury Operations, Securities Services, Investment Operations, or Global Markets Operations.
• Experience working with one or more asset classes: Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange (FX), Derivatives, Money Markets, Repos, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), Cross Currency Swaps (CCS)
• Proven experience delivering transformation, migration, or system implementation projects.
• Hands-on experience with UAT planning and execution.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
