Job summary

Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance Company Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned HR business partner to drive strategic people initiatives across the HR portfolio. You will lead workforce planning, performance management, rewards and employee relations, while partnering with line managers to ensure timely talent acquisition and succession planning.

The role requires strong knowledge of HK Employment Ordinance, excellent communication in Chinese and English, and a hands-on, results-oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR or related disciplines.
• 10 years of HRBP / HR generalist experience, preferably in financial services/insurance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at senior levels.
• Solid knowledge of Employment Ordinance and HK regulations.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English, spoken and written.

• Manage and deliver talent acquisition and retention activities of assigned portfolio and to ensure timeliness and cost effectiveness in the process.
• Partner with line managers in monitoring the performance management process and identify key performers for succession planning.
• Support business units in the implementation of manpower plan, ensuring that the operational and succession needs of responsible portfolios are adequately met.
• Execute and implement the development and delivery of cultural change plans and interventions.
• Support the team to collaborate with stakeholders to champion HR initiatives and implement HR strategies, polices and best practices effectively.

What we look for ?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related disciplines.
• 10 years of experience in HR business partnering / HR generalist role, preferably with experience gained from financial services / insurance industry.
• A confident and competent business partner with the ability to build and maintain constant rapport with the business at a strategic level and be hands-on when required.
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset, excellent ability to work under pressure and independently with good time management.
• Demonstrated business acumen to drive organizational and people-related strategies and practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, and build relationships with a range of stakeholders to drive organizational change.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyse data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
• Well organised, highly structured and logical in providing HR advisory.
• Strong knowledge in Employment Ordinance and relevant regulations in Hong Kong, and applicable related policies and laws.
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
