Job summary

The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong is recruiting a Human Resources Officer, Business Partner to act as a primary HR advisor to service leaders and managers across designated departments in Hong Kong. You will manage manpower planning, onboarding, performance management and employee relations in a community-focused organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR management, Business Administration, Psychology or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in HR generalist or HR operations related role.
• Well-versed in Employment Ordinance and other HR related legislations.
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary contact point to provide professional HR advice and support to service leaders/managers for designated departments and service units.
• Manage the full employee life cycle including manpower planning, talent acquisition, contracts administration, onboarding, performance management, talent development, movements, employee relations and offboarding.
• Translate HR policies and guidelines into practical advice for internal clients, ensure consistency, compliance and judgement in execution.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of HR initiatives/projects aligned with organisational strategies and objectives.
• Support organisational change management and drive HR process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain and update staff records with high level of accuracy and confidentiality, ensuring full compliance with HK employment regulations.
• Compile data and prepare HR reports to support departmental analysis and operational needs.
• Perform ad hoc duties and support HR projects/initiatives as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in HR generalist or HR operations related role

Well-versed in Employment Ordinance and other HR related legislations

Self-initiative, strong sense of responsibility, organized and able to meet tight deadlines

Detail-oriented, able to work independently and under pressure

A collaborative team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for serving the community and contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS system

Good command in spoken and written English and Chineser
