Job summary

Metagate Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Operations Specialist to drive daily compliance, loan administration, and overall loan operations for our licensed Money Lender activities. You will ensure regulatory adherence under Cap.

163, manage CDD/KYC, and coordinate with cross-border teams in Sydney and Shenzhen. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in banking or fintech, with experience in loan operations, AML/KYC, and loan documentation, and holds a relevant degree.

Qualifications

2–5 years of banking, money lending, licensed fintech/remittance, securities, accounting, or related financial services experience.
Practical experience in HK loan operations, credit administration, AML/KYC review, or loan documentation.
Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
Familiarity with Hong Kong Money Lenders Ordinance (Cap. 163) and regulatory standards.
Native/Fluent Cantonese and professional English; Mandarin preferred for cross-border coordination.

Responsibilities

Act as designated Fit and Proper Person under Cap. 163 and maintain compliance with regulators.
Handle license renewal filings, declarations, and annual return submissions.
Perform customer due diligence (CDD/KYC) and source-of-funds verification.
Review loan applications, draft loan agreements, and ensure disclosure mandates.
Oversee loan drawdown, repayments, collateral management, and credit monitoring.
Coordinate with Sydney compliance team for final approvals and support cross-border remittance workflow.
Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for regulatory inspections.
