Job summary

PERSOL is hiring a Loan and Credit Operation Officer in Hong Kong to process new loan applications, onboard SME accounts, and support loan product development. You will liaise with internal teams and counterparties while maintaining strong internal controls and preparing regular reports.

The role requires a higher diploma or above with 1–3 years of relevant banking experience and fluency in English and Chinese. This is a renewable 12-month contract role with a monthly salary up to HKD 28,000.

Qualifications

• Higher diploma or above.
• 1–3 years of banking experience in loan or credit approval.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in written English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Process new loan applications with document verification and policy compliance.
• Manage SME account onboarding ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
• Assist in loan product development and enhancements to improve customer experience.
• Liaise with internal departments, external counterparties and global custodian as needed.
• Maintain and improve internal control procedures.
• Update regular reports, TU/MCRA reports, proposals and presentations.
• Conduct site inspections when required and provide cross-team support.
