Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd seeks a senior HR & Admin professional to establish and strengthen the Hong Kong office's HR and administration function. Reporting to business leadership, you will be the key HR and administrative contact locally, driving compliance, payroll, MPF, onboarding and offboarding, and process improvements.

The role offers exposure to regional projects and collaboration with headquarters in Mainland China, in a lean, professional FMCG trading environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years combined HR and Administration experience.
• Experience in small-to-medium-sized organisations, trading business, or Chinese company environment advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment practices, payroll, MPF, taxation and HR compliance.
• Experience implementing HR systems, policies, SOPs, or process improvement initiatives.
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR operations: payroll, MPF processing, taxation, employee records, onboarding and offboarding, and policy compliance.
• Support recruitment across functions and coordinate with hiring managers.
• Build a more structured and scalable HR framework; review practices and implement improved HR processes, systems, and SOPs.
• Oversee day-to-day office administration: facilities, vendor relationships, insurance administration, client visits, and a professional workplace environment.
• Collaborate with regional teams and headquarters in Mainland China on talent management initiatives and process harmonisation.
