Job summary

DLD Asset Management is seeking an Operations Associate in Hong Kong to support daily trade reconciliation, trade allocation, and settlement across Asia. You will work with prime brokers, custodians, and the internal team to ensure accurate bookings and timely settlements.

The role requires 2–10 years of hedge fund or brokerage operations experience, with preference for knowledge of convertibles or equity derivatives and familiarity with Asia market structures.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years in hedge fund or brokerage operations; strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle, reconciliation, and settlement.
• Experience with convertibles, equity derivatives or credit instruments is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Asia market structures and settlement conventions is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily trade reconciliation across prime brokers, custodians, and internal systems
• Manage trade allocation and ensure accurate booking and timely settlement of Asia-based trades
• Support general operations for the firm’s Asia exposure, including settlements, corporate actions, and cash and position monitoring
• Coordinate with the Global Operations team in New York to ensure consistent processes and smooth handoffs across time zones
• Help identify and implement improvements to operational processes, controls, and documentation
