Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd in Hong Kong seeks operations professionals with at least three years’ experience in trade support, middle office, fund operations or investment operations to join leading hedge funds.

You will support daily trade lifecycle, reconciliations, and liaise with desks, prime brokers, and fund administrators to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced market. Fluent Mandarin and English are required; prior hedge fund experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years+ relevant experience in trade support, middle office, fund operations or investment operations.
• Experience within a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank or other relevant financial institution.
• Good understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement processes and reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good command of spoken and written Mandarin and English.

Responsabilités

• Support daily trade-lifecycle processes, including trade booking, matching, confirmation and settlement.
• Perform cash, position and trade reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Work closely with trading desks, portfolio managers and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
• Liaise with prime brokers, counterparties, custodians and fund administrators to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with corporate actions, cash management and fund reporting, depending on the role.
