Job summary

HR Plus in Hong Kong is seeking a Head of Training & Development to lead the design and execution of a comprehensive training and talent development strategy. You will drive learning initiatives across the organization, partnering with leaders to raise capability and performance, and ensure the program aligns with business goals.

You will manage vendor partnerships, measure training impact, and foster a culture of continuous development in a fast-paced luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in managing training and development programs.
• Experience in property, luxury retail, hospitality, or related industries preferred.
• Strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and implement training and talent development initiatives.
• Develop and review learning programs to enhance employee competencies.
• Identify training needs with internal stakeholders and create learning roadmaps.
• Source and liaise with external training vendors for outsourced programs.
• Review and evaluate training effectiveness and measure business results.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this role is held responsible for planning, organizing, developing and implementing the full spectrum of training, talent development mandates and initiatives.
• Plan, organize, develop, deliver and review learning and development initiatives to enhance the employees competencies.
• Work with internal stakeholders to identify training needs, formulate learning roadmap and methodology and implement talent development strategies
• Source and liaise with external training vendors for facilitating development and delivery of outsourced training programs
• Review, refine and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and measure business results
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned

Requirement

• Minimum 15 years of experience in managing various training & development programs (e.g. Management Trainee Program/ High-Potential Program) preferably in property /luxury retail / hospitality / industry
• Able to master new knowledge, concepts and ideas quickly and facilitate knowledge sharing
• High learning agility to innovate various learning touchpoints
• Proactive, creative with great passion in training and development
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint with multi-media software skill preferred
• Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese
