Job summary

Hong Kong Red Cross is seeking a Head of Training to lead the Training Centre's strategy and operations in Hong Kong. You will drive development and execution of training plans, ensuring quality service delivery and alignment with the organisation's mission.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years of post-graduate experience with at least 3 years in supervision, and excellent English with Cantonese/Putonghua. A 2-year contract (renewable) is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in social sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Sound experience in managing and overseeing ERB courses.
• Knowledge in managing training course development and centre operations.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Chinese/Cantonese/Putonghua skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff to execute service development and evaluation per HKRC strategic plan.
• Oversee training strategies, initiate new initiatives, ensure quality and efficiency.
• Guide assistant managers and training executives in delivering ERB training and customer services.
• Supervise trainers/volunteers in health, nursing and public health training delivery.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders (ERB, corporates, trainers, institutions) for collaboration.
• Develop funding proposals to support training centre operations and growth.
• Oversee qualification recognition and accreditation processes.
