Job summary

Swire Properties in Hong Kong is seeking a talented Manager, Technical Services to join the Technical Team at Taikoo Place. You will oversee building operations, asset enhancement, sustainability initiatives and capital projects to deliver safe, reliable, and exceptional workplace experiences for tenants and occupants.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Surveying or related disciplines.
• Corporate member of HKIE, RPE, or RPS (preferred).
• 8+ years in commercial property facilities management with at least 3 years in managerial role.
• Experience in managing large-scale building operations, maintenance planning and capital improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, safety management, asset management and sustainability practices.
• Experience with ESG initiatives, smart building technologies, digitalization or data-driven building management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of building fabric and systems to ensure safe, reliable and efficient performance.
• Manage and develop a multidisciplinary technical team to deliver high-quality services.
• Drive asset lifecycle planning, major maintenance, replacement and enhancement projects.
• Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets with cost control and resource utilization.
• Drive sustainability and energy optimization aligned with ESG objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and corporate policies.
• Manage consultants, contractors and service providers to meet safety, quality and service goals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, tenants and external parties to support objectives.
• Provide strategic technical advice on asset management and risk mitigation.

Education

Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Surveying or related disciplines

Professional qualification (HKIE/RPE/RPS or equivalent)

Minimum 8 years in commercial property facilities management
