Job summary

Swire Properties Limited in Hong Kong’s Taikoo Place invites a skilled Building Engineer to join our Technical Team. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians to operate, repair and maintain the Building Services system across the portfolio.

The role requires a degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD is advantageous. English and Chinese fluency, plus willingness to respond to out-of-hours emergencies, are

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
Chartered Engineer or HKIE member is preferable.
Grade C Registered Electrical Worker is an advantage.
Good communication skills; ability to work with people at all levels.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
Willing to attend emergency callouts outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Assistant Engineers, Technical Supervisors and Technicians to operate, repair and maintain Building Services for Taikoo Place.
Design, specification and implementation of tenancy improvement works and engineering retrofitting projects within the portfolio.
Liaise with contractors and consultants.
Attend emergency callouts.
Prepare maintenance budgets.
Plan and implement long-term maintenance.
Monitor tenants’ fit-out works.
Monitor energy conservation and related environmental issues.
