Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of building systems to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Lead a multidisciplinary technical team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.
• Drive asset lifecycle planning, major maintenance, and capital improvement projects.
• Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets with cost control and resource optimization.
• Advance sustainability and smart building initiatives aligned to ESG objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Manage consultants, contractors and service providers to maintain high safety and service levels.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, tenants and internal teams to achieve business objectives.
• Provide strategic technical advice on asset management and risk mitigation.

We are currently looking for a talented Manager, Technical Services to join our Technical Team in Hong Kong’s leading decentralized office area – Taikoo Place. Reporting to Senior Manager, Technical Services, you will play a key role in shaping the performance and future readiness of Taikoo Place. Leading a multidisciplinary technical team, you will oversee building operations, asset enhancement, sustainability initiatives and capital projects to deliver safe, reliable and exceptional workplace experiences while creating long-term value for our Taikoo Place portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of building fabric, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire services, lift and other building systems to ensure safe, reliable and efficient building performance
• Manage and develop a multidisciplinary technical team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective and customer-focused technical services
• Drive asset lifecycle planning, major maintenance, replacement and enhancement projects to maintain asset value and operational excellence
• Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets, ensuring effective cost control and resource utilization.
• Drive sustainability, energy optimization and smart building initiatives in support of the Company's ESG objectives
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, corporate policies, technical standards, safety management systems and audit requirements
• Manage consultants, contractors and service providers to achieve high standards of safety, quality and service delivery
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, tenants and external parties to support operational, leasing, asset enhancement and business objectives
• Provide strategic technical advice and recommendations on asset management, operational performance and risk mitigation

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Surveying or related disciplines
• Corporate Member of HKIE, Registered Professional Engineer (RPE), Registered Professional Surveyor (RPS) or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in commercial property, building services or facilities management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial building operations, maintenance planning and capital improvement projects
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, safety management, asset management and sustainability practices
• Experience in ESG initiatives, smart building technologies, digitalization or data-driven building management will be an advantage
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and project management skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Required to attend emergency calls and support incident management outside normal working hours when necessary
