Conrad Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Bar Captain to lead our luxury hotel's bar team and craft premium cocktails to the highest standards.

In this role you will train and develop staff, manage stock levels, maintain sanitation, and deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, while staying current with industry trends and presentation techniques.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years as Bar Captain or similar role in a luxury setting.
• Bartending or mixology certification preferred.
• Knowledge of spirits, cocktails and mixing techniques.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks to established standards.

• Train and develop team members.
• Perform hostess, cashier, and service duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Create and innovate cocktail recipes.
• Experiment with new ingredients to develop exciting drinks.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to established recipes and standards.
• Utilize appropriate stemware and glassware as required by hotel standards.
• Ensure that appropriate stock levels of all bar items are constantly maintained.
• Provide exceptional customer service and engage with patrons.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards, as well as hotel requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends in service, products, techniques, and presentation.
• Demonstrate the desire and ability to train and develop other team members.
• Perform multiple tasks, including other service duties such as hostess, cashier, and service.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bar Captainor in a similar role, ideally within a luxury hotel or renowned bar environment.
• Certification in bartending or mixology is preferred.
• Knowledge of various spirits, cocktails, and mixing techniques.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Bar Captain.
