Job summary

The Langham, Hong Kong is seeking a Captain Server to deliver outstanding guest experiences with proactive service and professionalism. You will support daily restaurant operations, assist at the station, and promote current promotions while ensuring accuracy in orders and timeliness.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and a willingness to work shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year relevant hotel/restaurant experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates will be considered.
• Degree holder or certificate in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Available to work on shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent experience via proactive interaction with guests to enhance satisfaction.
• Ensure restaurant daily operations are efficient and smooth.
• Prepare and set up the assigned station and maintain cleanliness and readiness of restaurant.
• Assist in order taking, providing recommendations or information on both dishes, beverages and latest promotions and delivering food and beverage.
• Serve food & beverage in a professional and courteous manner and ensure accuracy of orders including menu details.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Fulfill guest needs and respond promptly to inquiries and special requests.
• Handling VIPs/ special guests' arrivals and guest preferences with care.
• Prepare accurate bill payment & check guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Head / Supervisor.
