Job summary

HAECO Group is seeking an experienced Digital Designer to join the Group Digital Customer Experience team in Hong Kong. You will work with Product Owners and other Designers to shape digital products touching users worldwide.

You will run workshops, conduct user research, translate findings into design requirements, create wireframes and prototypes, and collaborate with developers during build to ensure quality and alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field is required.
• Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English is preferred.
• 8+ years of end-to-end UX/Product Design experience with a strong portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Define product problems with the product team and translate them into clear product and design requirements.
• Run focused workshops (journey mapping, prioritization, opportunity framing) to align stakeholders and confirm direction and scope.
• Conduct user research—interviews, surveys, and usability tests—to understand user behaviors, needs, and preferences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring designs align with product direction, user needs, and business goals.
• Map end-to-end user flows and design information architecture to enable clear, scalable navigation and well-defined scope.
• Create low-to-high fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to communicate concepts and validate interactions.
• Partner with the development team during implementation, provide assets and specs, and support UAT to ensure design quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Position Description

We are looking for an experienced and creative Digital Designer to join our Group Digital Customer Experience team. You will be working closely with Product Owners and other Digital Designers across HAECO entities and generating new ideas using the latest methods and technology. The digital products and services you design will interact with internal users and customers worldwide, which will be critical to the success of our digital transformation journey.

What You'll Do

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

What You'll Need

1. Functional and other Relevant Experience

• 8+ years of end‑to‑end UX/Product Design experience with a portfolio demonstrating impact, process, and outcomes.
• Advanced expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and crafting intuitive navigation flows.
• Strong capability across wireframing, prototyping (low to high fidelity), and production‑quality UI design.
• Proficiency with modern design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, FigJam/Miro, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong command of user research methods (interviews, surveys, usability testing) and when to apply them.
• Expertise in gathering and prioritising user needs for user‑centric design.
• Experience in usability testing and incorporating user feedback into design iterations.
• Experience collaborating in agile, cross‑functional environments; comfortable working closely with Product & Development Team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to present rationale, influence decisions, and build alignment.

2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Design, HCI, Multimedia or related discipline).
• Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
