Job summary

Mother’s Choice 母親的抉擇 is seeking a Manager of Fundraising (Grants & Foundations) to drive grant-derived income and support the NGO’s mission. You will lead strategic planning, cultivate foundation partnerships, and oversee grant submissions to ensure sustainable funding and program impact.

The role requires deep experience in grant writing and fundraising, plus the ability to align funding opportunities with organizational needs and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or resource development within the nonprofit sector.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Chinese would be a plus.
• Familiarity with grant application processes, grant management systems, and fundraising software.
• Understanding of nonprofit financial management and budgeting processes.
• Commitment to Mother’s Choice's safety and protection of children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for grants and foundations.
• Conduct financial needs assessments across services to set targets and allocate resources.
• Identify funding priorities aligned with the NGO's mission and goals.
• Lead preparation and submission of high-quality grant proposals.
• Train and mentor staff on grant writing and fundraising best practices.
• Define KPIs and data collection frameworks to demonstrate outcomes to funders.
• Collaborate with marketing on messages for the foundation audience.
