Job summary

LW Consulting Limited invites a senior technology executive for a General Manager–level role overseeing its group-wide IT function in Hong Kong. The GM will shape the technology strategy, strengthen governance, and drive digital enablement across business units.

You will lead a large IT organisation, manage complex enterprise environments, multi-year transformation programmes, and major vendor partnerships, delivering cyber security, cloud, data analytics, and enterprise applications at scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20-25+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior management or GM-level role.
• Experience overseeing enterprise IT operations in complex organisations (property, conglomerate, hospitality, or similar multi-business environments).
• Strong experience in IT governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud transformation, and enterprise applications.
• Proven track record leading large teams and multi-year transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management to influence senior executives and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Strategic mindset with strong operational discipline and execution capability.
• Hong Kong experience strongly preferred; Cantonese or Mandarin proficiency advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the Group’s technology strategy aligned with business priorities and long-term ambitions.
• Lead enterprise IT governance, cybersecurity posture, risk management, and compliance across all business units.
• Advise senior management on technology investments, architecture and emerging capabilities.
• Oversee the full IT portfolio including infrastructure, networks, cloud, applications, data platforms, and service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement of IT operations to ensure stability, resilience and high service quality for mission-critical systems.
• Lead the optimisation and modernisation of legacy environments, including cloud migration and ERP evolution.
• Champion digital initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and business intelligence.
• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for automation, data analytics, AI adoption, and workflow digitisation.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies strengthening competitiveness and agility.
• Lead and develop a sizeable IT organisation, fostering accountability, collaboration and growth.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and major technology contracts and procurement.
