Job summary

Hongkong Land Group Limited seeks a seasoned General Manager to lead the Architecture & Engineering function across corporate, leasing, property and data domains. You will set technology direction, drive scalable, secure, and integrated solutions that align with the company's strategic priorities.

You will build governance, standards, and delivery roadmaps, partnering with product owners and business leaders to translate objectives into architecture designs, and ensure excellence across DevOps,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive technology experience, including leadership responsibility of multidisciplinary teams across solution architecture, software engineering, and enterprise technology delivery.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, cloud technologies, integration architecture, software engineering practices, and platform operations.
• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale technology transformation initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders and translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Experience within real estate, property management, finance, customer platforms, or data and analytics environments would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead Architecture & Engineering across product domains, defining tech direction.
• Establish architecture standards, engineering practices, and governance frameworks to improve consistency, reusability, delivery quality, and operational efficiency across the technology landscape.
• Partner with Product Owners, Technology Business Partners, and business stakeholders to translate business objectives into technology roadmaps, solution designs, and delivery plans.
• Drive engineering excellence across architecture, software development, quality assurance, DevOps, and platform reliability, ensuring high-quality and resilient technology solutions.
• Oversee the delivery of enterprise technology capabilities and transformation initiatives, ensuring successful execution from solution design through implementation, release, and operational stabilization.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, QA, DevOps, and platform reliability professionals, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and business partnership.
• Manage technology delivery capacity, budgets, vendors, and strategic resources, ensuring investments remain aligned with business priorities and long-term technology goals.
