Job summary

MIT Semiconductor Pte Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a leader to oversee a regional team of Field Service Engineers responsible for installation, commissioning and buy-off of new semiconductor equipment, plus post-sales support.

You will train customers, drive service revenue, maintain documentation, and collaborate with Engineering on quality issues while traveling as needed.

Diploma in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering is required.
• Technical background in mechanical and software engineering.
• Experience of 5+ years in field service or similar roles.
• Willingness to travel overseas and be highly mobile.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional team of Field Service Engineers.
• Install, commission, and buy off new equipment for semiconductor customers.
• Provide technical support and post-sales service.
• Deliver training on operations, set-up and maintenance.
• Improve customer-installed base performance.
• Maintain and update service documentation.
• Manage manpower and service operations costs to meet targets.
• Collaborate with Engineering on design, quality, and performance issues.
• Source new accounts for system upgrades and spare sales.
• Foster strong customer relations.
