Job summary

MIT Semiconductor Pte Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical systems for semiconductor backend equipment. You will create electrical drawings, BOMs, and maintain design history, while interfacing with mechanical, process, software, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to meet project goals.

The role involves participating in new product development, supporting existing products for continuous improvements, and aiding the transfer of new products from R&D

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering or relevant qualifications.
• Diploma holders or fresh graduates with good aptitude will be considered.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new technology and skills.
• Familiar with any electrical CAD software package.
• Good team player who can work well within a multidisciplinary team.
• Hands‑on experience in electrical system or subsystem design will be a plus.
• Knowledge in motion control systems will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical engineering design for semiconductor backend machines.
• Create electrical drawings, bill of materials, and other design documents, and maintain design history.
• Collaborate and interface with other functional teams (mechanical design, process, software, manufacturing, and purchasing, etc.) to achieve project goals.
• Participate in new product development and support existing products for continuous improvements.
• Support new product transfer from R&D to product teams.
• Conduct testing and analysis using engineering instruments.
