Job summary

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group seeks a seasoned Group Financial Controller in Hong Kong to own the group’s financial operations, governance and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the CFO, the role covers end-to-end accounting, audit coordination, and cross-border taxation for HK, Mainland and international entities.

The candidate should have 20+ years in large-scale global retail, HK-listed company experience, and deep HKEX knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines.
• CPA (HKICPA), ACCA or equivalent international qualifications.
• 20+ years of progressive financial management in large-scale global retail.
• Familiar with cross-border retail financial operations.
• Deep knowledge of HKEX Listing Rules, HK Ordinance and HKFRS.
• Experience with internal controls, audits and cross-border tax planning.
• Strong governance, risk awareness and data analysis skills.
• English and Chinese proficiency (Cantonese & Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle Group accounting and closing, consolidation and inter-company reconciliation.
• Ensure reports comply with accounting standards, policies and HKEX disclosure requirements.
• Lead risk assessments, control reviews and process improvements using tech/AI tools.
• Coordinate statutory audits for HK and Mainland entities and address findings.
• Manage cross-border taxation for Mainland, HK and international entities.
• Support overseas expansion with financial governance and cross-border funding.
