Job summary

Hanson Search is recruiting a Director, Public Relations and Influence for a leading ultra-luxury hotel brand headquartered in Hong Kong. The role leads global PR, influence and social media strategy across Head Office, properties and agencies, requiring an established luxury media network and senior stakeholder influence.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in PR, communications or social media within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, fashion or premium brands.
• Global media network and influencer/KOL ecosystem knowledge with multi-market leadership.
• Strategic PR and communications expertise with strong luxury brand sensibility.
• Deep understanding of media, influencer and digital ecosystems and managing agency partners.
• Degree in communications, PR, journalism, marketing, hospitality, or related field (or equivalent senior-level experience).
• Strategic, composed and commercially minded with leadership presence to influence senior stakeholders across geographies.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages (Chinese, French) are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across time zones to support global properties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the global consumer PR strategy aligned to brand positioning and priorities.
• Build relationships with top-tier international media, editors and opinion leaders to drive earned coverage.
• Lead brand storytelling across PR, social and influencer channels with brand, marketing and property teams.
• Own the global social media strategy to drive growth, engagement and luxury standards.
• Define and manage a global influencer and KOL framework and relationships.
• Oversee the global PR agency ecosystem including scope, performance and appointments.
• Set and track KPIs across PR, influence and social channels.
• Evaluate campaigns, partnerships and agency ROI with actionable reporting.
