Job summary

ASTRI – Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute is seeking a senior leader to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and innovative partnerships. You will oversee strategic account management, technical sales, licensing, and cross‑border collaborations with key clients and partners, leveraging the Institute’s R&D capabilities.

You will influence governance, work with government bodies and universities, and lead a high‑performing team to deliver market-driven solutions in HK,

Qualifications

• Degree holder in business, management, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in technology sectors.
• At least 10 years in senior management (C-level or equivalent).
• Proven success in business development across markets including HK, Mainland China, ASEAN, and internationally.
• Experience selling innovative tech solutions and leading a BD team.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that support sustainable growth and drive market expansion and revenue growth.
• Develop and execute strategic account management by building and nurturing client relationships and cross-border collaborations.
• Drive technical sales and business development by developing solution-based proposals and leveraging R&D know-how to communicate value propositions.
• Lead IP and commercialization strategies, safeguarding innovations and driving licensing and spin-offs.
• Accelerate market development in HK, Mainland China, ASEAN, and internationally through partnerships with government bodies, tech institutions, and universities.
• Develop and implement partnership plans, expand partner networks, and drive marketing initiatives aligned with channel objectives.
• Shape and execute marketing strategy by analyzing market trends and competitive landscapes and identifying new revenue streams.
