Job summary

South China Morning Post SCMP is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Compensation & Benefits and Operations. You will oversee global C&B operations, payroll compliance across HK, Mainland China, and beyond, and partner with Finance and People Business Partners to optimize costs and annual cycles.

You will champion process improvements, data analytics, and AI-enabled innovations, manage HRIS systems, audits, and vendor relationships, and drive strategic initiatives to support a performance-driven

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or related field.
10+ years in C&B and HR operations in MNCs.
Experience leading digital transformation or automation projects in HR.
Strong communication with vendors and stakeholders.
Proficient in HRIS with data analysis and reporting.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end C&B operations including payroll across multiple regions.
Lead annual compensation cycles, salary reviews, bonuses, and market benchmarking.
Manage people costs budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
Drive process reengineering and AI-enabled innovations in HR.
Maintain HRIS data accuracy and system upgrades.
Collaborate with Finance, P&T, and external vendors.
