Job summary

International E-commerce Company in Hong Kong is seeking a Global Business Development Manager to procure air capacity and manage relationships with airlines and freight forwarders for efficient, cost-effective global shipments.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration, analyze operations, and recommend innovative solutions to optimize air cargo processes during high-demand periods, driving efficiencies in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in logistics, transportation, or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of work experience in air transportation routes and operations with airlines or freight forwarders.
• Experience with European and American air routes is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to high-demand periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for procuring air capacity in line with the company's international shipment schedule.
• Manage and develop productive relationships with international airlines and freight forwarders.
• Collaborate with airlines and freight forwarders to allocate cargo space and jointly manage operational irregularities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in navigating the logistics market dynamics; previous experience in route management is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage logistics during high-demand periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and adapt quickly to changes.
• Demonstrable negotiation skills for managing relationships with vendor companies.
