Job summary

LONGPORT Whale is seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer in Hong Kong to drive technical demonstrations and articulate value for institutional clients. You will present platform features, gather requirements, and collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to tailor solutions.

The role requires fintech domain knowledge, strong communication in English and Chinese, and the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT or related field.
• At least 3 years in pre-sales, solutions engineering or technical consultancy in fintech.
• Strong English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to prospective clients.
• Clearly articulate the value proposition, features, and technical architecture.
• Customize presentations and demonstrations to align with client requirements and pain points.
• Serve as a primary technical contact during the sales cycle, addressing platform functionality questions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their systems and propose tailored solutions.
• Conduct technical deep-dives and proof-of-concept sessions as required.
• Work with the sales team to qualify leads and gather requirements.
• Translate client requirements into functional and technical specs for product/engineering.
• Assist in RFI/RFP responses with technical accuracy and alignment.
• Stay updated on FinTech trends, blockchain, AI, and regulatory changes.
