Description
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting & Fund Accounting
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities.
- Reviewing fund accounting and related issues
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances.
- Coordinate invoice processing, expense tracking, and payment arrangements.
- Assist with monthly management reporting and budgeting activities.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and corporate service providers.
- Support annual audit and statutory filing requirements.
- Manage payroll administration and coordinate with external payroll vendors.
General Business Support
- Provide administrative support to senior management as required.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and operational initiatives.
- Coordinate with external service providers and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Support the implementation and improvement of internal processes and controls.
Profile
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, office management, or business administration.
- Previous experience within an asset management, hedge fund, family office, private equity, financial services, or professional services environment is preferred.
- Big 4 or Fund Admin candidates are welcome
- Sound understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial administration.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin would be advantageous.
