Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a Facilities Services Supervisor at Shatin Racecourse. You will provide administrative support to the Property Facilities Services team, maintain asset inventory and budgets, and help standardise operating procedures.

You will train and lead a large attendants team and handle staff matters, with race day duties as required. The role requires a degree or higher diploma in facility/property management, at least 2 years’ relevant experience, and proficient

Qualifications

• A degree / higher diploma in Facility Management / Property Management or related studies.
• At least 2 years relevant work experience in office administration, preferably gained in facility management / property management.
• Knowledge of hygiene management practices along with cleaning process and operational plan preferable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese.
• Hands-on experience in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Manager, Property Facilities Services and the team for implementing and maintaining facilities services at Racecourse.
• Prepare timely operation reports and upkeep asset inventory and budgetary control records; edit/prepare electronic documents and data entry.
• Assist in compiling and maintaining documentation including SOPs and training manuals.
• Train and lead a large team of attendants to ensure services meet standards and timelines.
• Handle staff matters including deployment, rostering, leave arrangement and wages calculation.
• Perform race day duty as required.

Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club ("the Club") is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. The Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.

The Job

• Provide administrative support to the Manager, Property Facilities Services and the team for implementing and maintaining facilities services at Racecourse to ensure hygiene and well equipped environment for users on race days and non race days
• Prepare timely and accurate operation reports and upkeep the asset inventory and budgetary control record; edit and prepare electronic documents & handle data entry
• Assist in compiling and maintaining documentation including standard operating procedure, training manuals, etc.
• Train and lead a large team of attendants to ensure that services rendered are met within the required standards and time frame
• Handle staff matters including deployment, rostering, leave arrangement and wages calculation
• Require to perform race day duty

About You

• At least 2 years relevant work experience in office administration, preferably gained in facility management / property management
