Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club's Property Department is seeking a capable facilities administrator to support the Manager and team in delivering hygiene-conscious, well-equipped environments for race days and non-race days.

You will prepare operation reports, maintain asset inventory and budgets, draft SOPs and training manuals, and train a large team of attendants to meet service standards; duties include rostering, leave management and race-day work as required.

Qualifications

  • A degree / higher diploma in Facility Management / Property Management or related studies.
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience in office administration, preferably gained in facility management / property management.
  • Knowledge of hygiene management practices along with cleaning process and operational plan preferably.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Hands-on experience in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Manager, Property Facilities Services and the team for implementing and maintaining facilities services at Racecourse to ensure hygiene and well equipped environment for users on race days and non race days
  • Prepare timely and accurate operation reports and upkeep the asset inventory and budgetary control record; edit and prepare electronic documents & handle data entry
  • Assist in compiling and maintaining documentation including standard operating procedure, training manuals, etc.
  • Train and lead a large team of attendants to ensure that services rendered are met within the required standards and time frame
  • Handle staff matters including deployment, rostering, leave arrangement and wages calculation
  • Require to perform race day duty

The Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.

The Job
