Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club in Hong Kong is looking for a dedicated individual to join the Security, Integrity and Information Security Division. The role involves access control, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents at the Club’s premises.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1 year relevant experience, a valid Security Personnel Permit, and basic knowledge of operating security systems. The position offers competitive salary and benefits in an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year relevant working experience.
• Availability to work on day and night shifts including Sundays and holidays.
• Valid Security Personnel Permit with Category Code B.
• Valid Hong Kong driving license code No. 1 & 2 (preferred).
• First Aid Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Carry out access control, crowd control and patrolling.
• Monitor various security systems at the Security Control Room.
• Participate in sampling operations for horses and humans.
• Respond to alarms and incidents.
• Provide firefighting and first aid during incidents.
• Carry out tasks during race meetings and other events.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club

Founded in 1884, the Hong Kong Jockey Club ("the Club") is a world‑class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, charities and community contribution. The Division

The Security, Integrity and Information Security (SIIS) Division is responsible for the Club’s integrity by combatting criminality, corruption and information security risks, including cyber security that may impact business. Through robust governance and proactive security measures, SIIS is dedicated to maintaining a secure environment and upholding uncompromising integrity across Club operations.

The Job

• carry out access control, crowd control and patrolling of the Club’s premises
• monitor different security systems at the Security Control Room / Centre which will include but not limited to CCTV, Alarm systems, etc.
• participate in sampling operations for horses and humans
• respond to alarms and incidents as well as providing related incident information
• carry out applicable firefighting and provision of first aid during incidents
• carry out related duties during race meetings and/or other events organised by the Club as and when required

About You

• tertiary education is preferred
• a minimum of 1 year relevant working experience
• basic knowledge of operating security systems
• basic report writing skills
• the availability to work on day and night shifts including Sundays and holidays
• valid Security Personnel Permit with Category Code B
• valid Hong Kong driving license code No. 1 & 2 is preferred
• First Aid Certification is preferred
