Job summary

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) invites applications for the role of Manager (Facilities Services) to oversee all facilities services on the Clear Water Bay campus and off-site campuses. The appointee will manage staff and external contracts, monitor performance, and ensure high service standards in alignment with University policies.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised degree or higher diploma in Facility Management or related discipline, with at least eight years

Qualifications

• Eight years of relevant facilities management and event management experience.
• Recognised degree or higher diploma in Facility Management or related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CFM, RICS, HKIFM, HKIH or equivalent.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all facilities services on the Clear Water Bay campus and off-site campuses.
• Monitor external contracts and ensure performance targets are met in line with policies.
• Lead and empower the team to deliver high levels of customer service to students, staff and visitors.
• Support sustainability programmes to minimize environmental and economic impacts.
• Manage CMO/FS budgets, including annual planning, forecasting and spend control.
• Review and renew contracts per University procurement procedures and performance plans.
• Support key university events with resources and on-site coordination.
• Perform ad hoc duties or special assignments from the Director of Campus Management Office and Head of Facilities Services.
