HK$20,159 to HK$24,503 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Provide administrative, secretarial and clerical support for daily operations and task implementation across a full range of administrative offices in St. John Hospital, including but not limited to filing, verify data / statistics, compile report / return, conduct simple analysis, documentation, and record keeping; coordinate meetings / activities and / or programs; prepare presentation papers / report, take meeting notes, and / or draft correspondences; maintain staff duty rosters, office facilities and equipment.
- 2. Assist in handling continuous quality improvement programs for Administrative Services Division, including to provide clerical supports to develop departmental policies, procedures, guidelines and operation manuals.
- 3. Provide executive and administrative support, particularly in Support Services and Local Supplies Offices.
- 4. Assist in office management, coordinate internal meetings / programmes / daily activities.
- 5. Handle enquiry and liaison work with internal and external stakeholders, including handling correspondences, to ensure effective and timely support.
- 6. Operate telephone system and alarm panels when necessary.
- 7. Perform general clerical duties and any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements
- 1. University Graduates; OR
- 2. Completed F.5/S.5 with:
i) Passes in 5 subjects in the HKCEE, including English Language (Syl B)and Chinese Language, or equivalent;
OR
ii) 5 subjects in the HKDSE attaining the level specified below:
- Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language; and
- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximumof 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent
AND diploma in a specialized function
Preferred Attributes
- 1. Experience in providing secretariat / executive support in healthcare setting will be an advantage.
- 2. Proficient in PC applications, including English and Chinese word processing, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, etc.
- 3. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- 4. Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- 5. Strong team spirit, able to work independently under pressure and accomplish tasks within tight schedule, and dedicated to quality service.
- 6. High flexibility and adaptability to perform diverse administrative duties.
- 7. Willing to work in different working locations on a project basis to meet service needs of the department, if required.
