Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Events Planning professional to coordinate private events across Clubhouses and Racecourses. You will manage logistics, floor plans, menus and guest experiences, liaising with chefs, banquet teams and service staff to ensure flawless execution.

Role requires a university degree in Hospitality Management, 4+ years in high-end hospitality, and strong people leadership with fluent Cantonese and English.

Qualifications

• University degree or higher diploma in Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 4 years related experience in a premium hospitality operation.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Supervisory experience in Event Management.
• Proficient with MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events at Clubhouses and Racecourses with the operations team.
• Review agreements and prepare handover details from sales.
• Advise guests on venue setup, menus, attendance and run-downs.
• Prepare admin duties: signage, guest lists, place cards, badges, parking QR codes.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure service standards.
• Enter post-event revenue in Opera and prepare monthly reports.
• Produce forecast reports, VIP lists and floral orders.
• Support sales by cultivating member referrals.
