Job summary

Asdor Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead end-to-end event lifecycles, from concept to delivery, while strengthening client relationships and driving professional event solutions. You will actively participate in RFPs, budgeting, presentations and follow-ups to ensure success across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in advertising, media, hospitality, business, marketing or related field
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Approximately 3–5 years of relevant event management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of pre-event planning, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, manpower planning, logistics, production requirements and event schedules
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams, external vendors and partners to ensure smooth and successful event delivery
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring each project is delivered within agreed scope, timeline and budget
  • Take ownership of assigned project budgets, cost management, profitability and forecasted project margins
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members and ensure tasks are completed to the required standard
  • Remain hands-on during event setup, execution and teardown to ensure operational excellence
  • Take on additional responsibilities and support the wider team when required

Job description

About the role

You will lead the conceptualization, planning, execution and management of events from start to finish. You will manage and strengthen client relationships, understand business requirements and provide professional event solutions. You will take an active role in the RFP and pitching process, including proposal development, budgeting, presentations and follow-ups.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of pre-event planning, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, manpower planning, logistics, production requirements and event schedules

  • Coordinate closely with internal teams, external vendors and partners to ensure smooth and successful event delivery

  • Proactive, resourceful and solutions-oriented, especially when managing fast-moving event environments

  • Able to lead and guide junior team members when required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Equipped with strong verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Proficient in English to communicate effectively with English- and Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders

  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required for events

  • Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Advertising/Media, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mass Communications, Marketing or equivalent

  • Approximately 3–5 years of relevant event management experience preferred

  • Relevant experience in events, experiential marketing, exhibitions, conferences, activations or a related industry preferred
