Event Planning & Management in Hong Kong seeks an experienced leader to direct the EPM team, ensuring compliance and top service quality for event organisers. You will coordinate with multiple cross-functional teams to manage concurrent events and allocate resources efficiently.
The role requires a strong background in event management, exceptional leadership, and fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Lead and supervise an assigned EPM team and ensure the team adhere to the operational guidelines and deliver high standard of service quality to our event organisers.
Work closely with cross EPM teams to ensure smooth event operations when concurrent events occurred as well as supporting departments to ensure strong support for the events is obtained and cross team collaboration for successful event implementation.
Allocate resources upon receipt of the handover note from Business Development Team to ensure sufficient resources are reserved to support the events assigned.
Keep abreast of latest guidelines, policies, rules & regulations of relevant government departments / authorities to ensure the compliant of events.
Make prompt and sound decisions or make prudent adjustments on-site during any critical and unforeseeable situations which may deviate from the agreed plan and may be detrimental to the event or the participants.
Provide inputs and suggestions to Business Development Team, as well as engaging in early planning of potential events if required.
Perform any ad hoc assignment as required.
Degree holder or above in business studies, catering, hotel management, event management or related disciplines.
Minimum 15 years of relevant managerial and project management experience, preferably in the exhibition, event or hotelmanagement field.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and nurture the team as well as strong problem-solving, strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Deputy Director of Event Planning & Management.
