Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong is seeking an Associate for the CIB Event Marketing team to plan and execute high-standard client events.

Based in Hong Kong, you will collaborate with diverse lines of business, manage costs, and gain significant exposure to senior management. You will support Securities Services and Prime Financial Services Event Marketing managers, lead client initiatives, and oversee end-to-end event processes from briefs to post-event analysis, vendor coordination, and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Events, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management/execution.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management capabilities.
• Client-focused, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint; tech-savvy.
• Willingness to travel within the region and occasional after-hours work.
• Experience in financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Event Marketing managers across Securities Services and Prime Financial Services events.
• Lead client initiatives with lines of business, marketing, and functions.
• Manage end-to-end event planning, including briefs, research, approvals, invites, venue design, onsite support.
• Coordinate external vendors and venues for event-related matters.
• Support sponsorships and cross-line events to ensure benefits are delivered.
• Track and manage event budgets with focus on cost efficiency.
• Ensure documentation, compliance, and reporting procedures are followed; maintain event data.
