Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Events Marketing professional to lead and manage high‑profile conferences and client events across business units.

You will coordinate budgets, supplier relations, venue selection, compliance, and on-site delivery, ensuring seamless experiences from brief to post‑event reporting.

This role requires senior stakeholder engagement, strong communication, and a willingness to travel and work extended hours.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years related experience in event planning in the Investment Banking industry.
  • Ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Ability to lead, innovate, propose solutions, influence, make and own decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Corporate Access Team and internal conferences.
  • Plan and execute Firmwide conferences and events, including flagship and C-suite events.
  • Lead or contribute to events of varying scale (dinners, satellite events, client liaison).
  • Advise hosts on budget approval, compliance, contracts, risk management, data protection, and deadlines.
  • Manage key supplier relationships and negotiate costs with supply chains.
  • Own and track event budgets, invoices, and approvals throughout the lifecycle.
  • Coordinate invitations, branding, websites, and mobile apps with BU teams and Web team.
  • Research and manage external speakers, approvals, and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with Legal & Compliance and Anti-Corruption requirements.
