Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in event management, marketing, communications or related field.
• Proven experience leading multiple complex in-person events from strategy to on-site execution and post-event measurement.
• Strong understanding of premium client event standards within asset management or regulated industries.
• Strong budget management, vendor negotiation and financial reporting experience.
• Creative, commercially aware with audience-focused ideas to deepen client engagement.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on, team-first approach and willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Tech-forward and data-minded with ability to leverage event tech, analytics, automation and AI-enabled tools.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential; ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of high-quality in-person client, regional and internal events across APAC.
• Partner with stakeholders to define event objectives, priorities and success measures.
• Translate regional objectives into clear event strategies, agendas and attendee journeys.
• Bring creative and practical ideas to event concepts, themes, venues and content flow.
• Design personalized event experiences reflecting client needs and growth priorities.
• Own project plans, timelines, budgets, approvals and governance.
• Manage venues, vendors, speakers, materials, rehearsals and run-of-show documents.
• Lead on-site execution including registration, venue setup and speaker rehearsals.
• Use data and feedback to measure impact and improve future events.
• Identify ways to reduce manual work and scale events with approved technology.
• Maintain compliance, risk controls and share best practices across the region.
