Job summary

Yearfull Contracting Limited is a leading Hong Kong interior fit-out contractor seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor. You will prepare cost estimates, manage tender submissions, and support procurement and budgeting across interior fit-out projects.

The role requires a Higher Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in QS or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of E&M.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in estimation, tender preparation, or quantity surveying.
• Experience in fitting-out projects and knowledge of local building regulations advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Tender & Proposal Management: develop cost estimates and submissions.
• Cost Control & Budgeting: evaluate tenders and pricing.
• Procurement & Negotiation: coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.

Key Job Responsibilities

• - Tender & Proposal Management: Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates and prepare technical/commercial submissions.
• - Cost Control & Budgeting: Evaluate tender submissions, and subcontractor pricing for tenders.
• - Procurement & Negotiation: Coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors for competitive pricing and handle tender negotiations.
• - Strategy & Analysis: Review existing pricing methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• - Education: Higher Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• - Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in estimation, tender preparation, or quantity surveying, often with specific experience in fitting-out.
• - Skills: Strong analytical ability, proficiency in Excel, minor knowledge of E&M, understanding of local building regulations, and good communication skills to interact with clients and consultants. Full understanding of tender procedure.
• - Having experience in both Hong Kong and Macau would be an advantage.
