Job summary

Rise Associates Asia Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to oversee budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts for high-end fitting-out projects, ensuring value and profitability while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with at least five years’ experience in fitting-out works, and a proven track record with main contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on fitting-out projects.
• Previous experience working with a main contractor is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering for fitting-out projects.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular financial reports.
• Assist in contract administration and procurement processes.
• Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes when necessary.
• Mentor junior staff and provide professional guidance as needed (for Senior Quantity Surveyor role).
