Job summary

N1 Solutions Limited in Quarry Bay, HK is seeking a System Analyst to develop and support our in-house middle- and front-office systems. You will design, test, document, and implement new applications while working closely with IT and business teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in investment banking or securities trading, strong C#/Java, Linux skills, and experience with SQL/SSIS. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required. Permanent HK resident preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strong business knowledge of equity trading and middle-office/back-office operations.
• Hands-on experience with C# or Java, Linux, shell scripting, Excel VBA, and SQL.
• Experience with SSIS, Python, Omgeo CTM, AWS Cloud, Gloss, Ullink, and Fidessa is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in investment banking or securities trading, with exposure to middle-office/back-office systems for equity trading.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical, problem-solving and results-oriented skills.
• Clear and confident communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Team player capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support in-house middle-office and front-office systems for Hong Kong.
• Design and develop in-house systems; plan and execute unit, functional, and integration testing.
• Prepare and maintain development documentation (design specs, test plans, test results).
• Conduct system analysis, development, testing and implementation for new/enhanced applications.
• Provide second-line support with first-line teams; collaborate with IT (DBA, Infra) to resolve issues.
• Perform feasibility studies and present clear recommendations for business consideration.
• Provide early-shift support when required.
• Develop interfaces for the Middle Office System (DMOS) and related back-office systems.
• Support Excel-based tools used by Equity Middle Office and Research.
