Job summary

VR Management Limited, under Chevalier Group, seeks a Senior Residence Services professional in Happy Valley, Hong Kong, to manage building facilities for its senior living and rehabilitation campus. The role focuses on MVAC, BMS and related systems, ensuring safe, compliant operations.

The candidate will inspect, repair and maintain facilities, supervise contractors, and keep precise records. 5+ years in facilities or property management, Cantonese fluency, and a willingness to work night

Qualifications

• Requires a Higher Diploma or above in Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant facilities or property management experience.
• Hands-on MVAC experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection, repair and maintenance of building facilities including MVAC and BMS.
• Supervise contractors to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, assist in tendering and purchasing.
• Provide emergency support during severe weather or incidents.
• Handle other engineering and maintenance duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily inspection, repair and maintenance of building facilities, including MVAC, BMS, ensuring proper operation of all equipment
• Handle emergency repairs and incidents such as sudden MVAC or power failures
• Assist in supervising contractors’ repair and maintenance works to ensure service quality, safety, and compliance with statutory requirements
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and assist in tendering and purchasing processes
• Provide emergency support services during severe weather conditions or other incidents
• Perform other engineering and maintenance duties as assigned

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; experience in hotel, clubhouse, or property management operations is preferred
• Hands-on experience in MVAC works will be an advantage
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
• Proficient in spoken Cantonese; knowledge of English is preferred
• Night shifts and holiday duties may be required
• Holder of Registered Electrician (Grade A) licence will be an advantage
• Ability to manage multi-task well in a fast-paced environment
