Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned professional to lead Business Development and Building Operations activities. You will drive lead identification, client engagement, proposals, tenders and contract negotiations while coordinating with the management team to deliver compelling property management solutions.

You will build client relationships, prepare pitches, and ensure proposals are feasible and aligned with client requirements.

Qualifications

  • Degree or above in Real Estate, Building Management, Property Management, Facilities Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 18 years of related working experience in property and facility management with minimum 10 years in managerial grade or above.
  • Holder of PMP (Tier 1) License is a must.
  • Candidates holding a valid EAA license will be highly preferred.
  • Solid business development experience would be a great advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in BMO, DMC and related ordinances.
  • Good knowledge of all laws & regulations that govern building management and maintenance.
  • Substantial hands-on experience in building management procedures and vendor management.
  • Excellent client relationship management.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is a must; fluency in Mandarin is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive business development initiatives, including lead identification, client engagement, proposal preparation, tender submission and contract negotiation, while working closely with the Business Development team and management.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of compelling pitches and presentations to prospective clients, clearly articulating the company’s value proposition, service capabilities and tailored property management solutions.
  • Identify and recommend new business opportunities through market intelligence, industry networking and proactive relationship building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, strategic partners and key industry stakeholders to support business growth and enhance client engagement.
  • Provide property management expertise and commercial input during proposals, tenders and client discussions, ensuring solutions are operationally feasible and aligned with client requirements.
  • Support and, where required, lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals, working closely with internal teams and clients to drive effective communications, ensure successful contract transitions and service implementation, and deliver practical, commercially viable, and client-focused solutions for new properties.
  • Serve as the headquarters-based lead for business development activities and the day-to-day management of assigned property portfolios.
  • Oversee on-site team performance to ensure efficient operations, strong service delivery and compliance with agreed standards.

About You
