Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned facilities leader to oversee operations, including environment, safety, maintenance programs, and service providers, ensuring reliable and compliant delivery.

You will manage budgets, report on performance, drive improvement projects, and coach a team of facilities staff while collaborating with cross-functional partners to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facility operations, including critical environment engineering maintenance programs
• Incident and crisis management, health and safety, sustainability programs
• Accountable for P&L; manage capex/opex within budget and prepare finance performance reports
• Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, relocations and office moves
• Establish and maintain relationships with landlords, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery
• Procurement and contract administration to ensure value and timely renewals
• Ensure compliance with local laws and industry standards related to health, safety, and environment
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify issues and address safety
• Manage facility requests and close works orders to ensure service delivery and employee satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet facilities goals and business objectives
• Provide leadership and guidance to facilities staff including hiring, training and performance management
• Stay current with industry trends and pursue cost-saving innovations
• Prepare, submit and present periodic facilities reports

• Lead and manage the facility operations, including critical environment engineering maintenance programs, incident and crisis management, health and safety, sustainability programs, cleaning services, landscaping, pest control, and waste management among others.
• Meet and exceed the Key performance indicators and service level agreement.
• Accountable for P&L. Prepare and manage the facilities Capex and Opex spend within the approved budget, finance performance reporting ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Prepare periodic management reports regarding activity summary, performance level, energy data, maintenance activity, innovation, and incident.
• Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, and relocations. Interface with Project team on major capital projects, office refresh, moves and churns.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Landlords, vendors, contractors, and other service providers to ensure timely and quality delivery of services within budget.
• Procurement and Contract administration. Ensure services are procured and delivered at right costs creating value for the client, contracts renewals are timely done.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
• Manage facility request and ensure works orders are closed on time to ensure superior service delivery and employee satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sustainability, health and safety, project, finance) to meet facilities goals and business objectives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of facilities staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Stay current with industry trends and developments, and continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and cost‑saving initiatives. Drive innovation and continuous improvement programs.
• Prepare, submit and present periodic facilities reports.
